The Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (CUCC) and Global Affairs Canada (GAC) are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this site.
CUCC does not automatically gather any specific personal information from you, such as your name, telephone number or e-mail address when you visit this Web site. We would only obtain this type of information if you supply it by sending us an e-mail or registering as a user in a secure portion of the site.
Your information will only be viewed by those persons at CUCC and GAC who need that information for the purpose for which it was given. CUCC and GAC will not disclose your information to anyone outside their organizations without your consent or unless mandated by law.
CUCC and GAC use software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. This software receives and records the IP address of the computer that has contacted UCANPRO, the date and time of the visit and the pages visited. We do not attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.
When you submit a question or comment, you may be asked for your name, e-mail address, or other information. Only CUCC and GAC employees who need to know the information in order to respond to your request or to ensure the security of this system can access this information. We do not use the information to create individual profiles.
When you have identified an opportunity on UCANPRO that may be of interest, you will have the option of requesting aid from CUCC and/or GAC. UCANPRO will send an email to CUCC and to GAC with your email contact so that these organizations can respond to your request for information.
The personal information you submit via e-mail or when completing forms on the site is secure once it reaches the servers that host UCANPRO. In transit between your computer and the servers, however, it may not be secure.
